We choose the vendors and products that we represent and partner with very carefully. We want you to feel comfortable knowing that we have taken the necessary steps to ensure that you have flexible, reliable and scalable choices.
We have very high selection criteria for our partners and products. In no particular order, here are some of the criteria we use in selecting our brand partners and products:
- Vendor is an industry leader with vision for products and history of delivering relevant and quality products to market
- Vendor training classes available
- Vendor is actively marketing their solutions and partners to the public
- Vendor values their customers, such as Red Atom Networks, as partners and not merely purchasers of their products
- Vendor offers unique territory for partners
- Products are well supported by vendor
- Products are supported by an active community through forums, etc.
- Products are easy and quick to install with generally skilled resources
- Products can be powered with low voltage
- Products can be used in new construction and remodeling projects- products also have applicability in commercial projects
- Products are scalable and proven to be reliable with a low frequency of service calls
- Products can be used in homes across a range of prices and not just the high-end
- Products are versatile and modular- a client can start simply and upgrade and grow their solution as their needs change
- Products can be installed centrally in a rack/ homerun/ headend or locally in a room where used
- Products have a variety of consistent user interface choices- touchscreens, remotes, keypads, etc.
- Products can be accessed and used remotely via cell phone and computer user interface
- Products are aesthetically pleasing and easy to use with minimal training
- Products fit in with a variety of decors and styles
- Products are generally available in quantity when needed
